| Welcome! |
We have lots of information and news for you this month. Remember though, if you have any news about the industry, let us know. We'd be delighted to hear all about it.

| Events Industry Skillnet: Briefing Sessions & Steering Committee |
We have our Events Industry Skillnet Steering committee in place and they had their first meeting just last week. As promised, we got a picture of them for you. Below we will tell you all about the briefing sessions that are happening in a venue near you very soon, but for now, if you have any questions about the skillnet or you already know what you would like to get out of an events industry skillnet programme, please contact Paul.

|
Also, our Briefing sessions are now all in order. Done, dusted and sealed! We have our dates and locations locked down (see below), and now we have some speakers for you too.
We have a special guest coming to Dublin to speak at the briefing session.
Tricia Murphy of TiG Alliance is going to be finding out what hat we have on when we're networking down in Cork and Sligo.

| Events Day 07 Update |
The last of our Events Day 07 Podcasts are now available.
Mary O'Rawe (DIT) talk on the Currency of Success and Conor Kenny's (Conor Kenny and Associates) presentation on Finding the Key to Creativity went down a storm and closed our conference on a high note. That is all of them folks. We have now released all of the Podcasts from Events Day 07; if you couldn't make the conference but found the podcasts useful, let us know. Also, if you have any ideas on anything more you would like us to do, we'd love to hear your ideas. |

| MPI's Featured Band |
The Llobet Guitar Duo came down to the O'Reilly Hall, UCD for NEO's second birthday and they went down a storm. A two-piece band, they are ideal for any type of event. We needed an act that was entertaining and mobile, in case we had held the birthday outside and the rain forced us to make a quick entry. Really nice guys and really great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for entertainment for either social or corporate. These guys tick all the boxes.
