| EVENTZNET CELEBRATES 2ND BIRTHDAY AND NEW CLIENTS |
| July 10th 2004 On the 10th of July Eventznet was officially 2 - we had a very small celebration, but we've really been too busy to draw enough breath to blow out the candles. In the first half of 2004 we have been enjoying working with a number of new clients as well as those of you who have been with us for a while. Eventznet has been busy taking bookings from thousands of guests for a range of diverse events. Our customers have been busy sending invitations and managing the responses for their events. We've been delighted at the success of our clients events, and proud to have been able to help them in what can be a complex, time-consuming, tedious operation. We're especially pleased at the number of registrations received through the multi-lingual site for the Consumer Policy Section of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. With a registration form, e-mail invitations and event site in English, French and German, the DETE provided ease of registration for delegates from all the EU countries, as well as those that acceeded to the EU on May 01 2004. This EU Presidency event delivered valuable information and thought provoking ideas on European Consumer Day, March 2004. Localization World Bonn saw the first of a series of conferences organised by the Localization Insitute and Multilingual Computing whose registration is powered by Eventznet. Localization World Bonn in June 2004 saw delegates registering for the conference and pre-conference workshops as well as a social event. The complex invoicing for the conference was made simple by Eventznet, allowing the organisers to quickly update individual bookings and keep track of all payments and tax receipts. The next Localization World conference will be in San Francisco, California. Entitled "Convergence in the Localization World", registration will be open soon at www.localizationworld.com. Bord Iascaigh Mhara, the Irish Sea Fisheries Board launched their Offshore Fish Farming conference in May. "Farming the Deep Blue" has a beautiful and functional event site powered by Eventznet. We've been busy with some of our partners too, and are delighted to have joined forces with Marketplan, veterans of exhibition and event registration management. Marketplan have recently launched RegistrationDesk.ie, where they offer on-line registration and pre-registration services in addition to the more traditional methods. RegistrationDesk.ie is powered by Eventznet. As we roll on into year 3 at Eventznet, we look forward to working with you to make your event organisation and marketing easier. |
